Best place to stay in Galena! We had the best stay! It started with our very friendly and informative greeting with our host, Nate, who made us feel right at home and gave us great history, tips, and must-do’s while in Galena. He was so helpful throughout our stay! The room was perfect, had everything we needed to make us feel comfortable and right at home. The room was very clean and inviting. The jacuzzi was exactly what we needed before and after a day exploring the city! Easy walking distance to downtown, great location! The bed was so comfortable, and we enjoyed the historical building with modern touches. It was truly one of the best places to stay. We couldn’t have hoped for a better experience with our stay!

Our host, Nate, was very friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about all things Galena. The price was reasonable. First Trip To Galena, Found a Total Gem of a Hotel My husband and I had been talking about making our first visit to Galena for years. After browsing through some of the wonderfully historic and quaint places to stay (we wanted to avoid commercial locations), we found that Riverboat Suites was ideal for the type of stay we were looking for. This wonderful inn exceeded our expectations. It nearly didn’t feel like we were even staying in a hotel. It was so comfortable. We stayed in suite 10, which was spacious and had a lot of natural light, including a skylight.

Perfect romantic getaway We stayed in Suite 8, and it was the perfect blend of new and old. The bed was very comfortable, and the sheets were so amazing we are buying a set ourselves. The extra large tub was awesome and so nice to relax in after walking around town all day. The water pressure was great, and there was plenty of hot water. The staff was wonderful, attentive without hovering, and very interested in feedback as they are new owners. The location couldn't be better for those who want to be steps from downtown but not on top of Main street. It was a wonderful, romantic getaway! We highly recommend this place to stay and will definitely return.

Great Stay in Galena Stayed in #7 in the Riverboat Suites. Really appreciate the easy access to the parking lot. Lovely room that was so cute and smelled really good. Loved the stained glass windows and the room was immaculate. Very quiet. Took advantage of the breakfast offered which had everything we needed before hitting the road. The location was perfect for a romantic stroll through downtown.

Best place in Galena to stay! Rooms were gorgeous! High ceilings and skylights just made the stay so comfortable! The bathroom had a two-person jetted tub and high ceilings, making it so relaxing! The host is amazing! We will definitely stay again! Also had a Tesla charger, which was a FANTASTIC surprise! Definitely one of the best places to stay in Galena. We look forward to planning another getaway here soon.

Located on the 3rd floor, Room 3 provides a great launching pad for exploring the historic city of Galena. It has carpeted floors, lots of natural light and a comfortable loveseat to read a book or catch a Cubs game. This room is also family friendly.

Beautiful and charming! This is such a charming place to stay in Galena! Nate was so friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, cozy, and super clean! The hotel is just a short walk to all the shopping and restaurants in downtown Galena; we didn’t need our car at all. The hotel grounds reminded us of our stay in New Orleans' French Quarter. We certainly plan on staying here again for another relaxing getaway!

Room 2 is another great value room for the getaway traveler. While it is one of our smaller rooms, it is perfect for the guest who spends most of their time out and about and just wants a clean, safe, comfortable room that is walking distance to everything on Galena’s Main Street.

Great Romantic Property I traveled to Galena with my boyfriend, and it turned out to be one of the most romantic mini vacations we have had. The hotel has a convenient location, a unique design, and a beautiful, comfortable, clean room. The owner is super nice and friendly. It's definitely a come-back destination and hotel for a getaway! Room 1 is our most affordable room but still offers a great guest experience. It has a restful bed, two comfortable chairs, wall-to-wall carpeting and a brand new tv. Located on the third floor, Room 1 is both a family friendly and a pet friendly room. Private bath is situated directly across the hall.

Great Location with Vintage Charm My wife and I spent a terrific weekend in Galena, and we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. This place to stay is in a great location, right on US 20 and just around the corner from Galena's Main Street. Nearly everything we wanted to do in town was within walking distance of the hotel, and once we arrived, we barely had to move our car the whole weekend.
